FAQ

What do you do?

We're a coupon clipping service. We purchase newspapers from authorized resellers and then do all of the hard work of clipping and organizing the included coupons. We charge for the service on a per-coupon basis.

I have a question. Can I contact you?

You sure can and I would love to hear from you! My personal e-mail address is coletta@klip2save.com.

What's your guarantee?

Our guarantee is unconditional.

When are the new Sunday coupons available?

The P&G and redplum coupons are online and shipping by approximately Wednesday at 8:00am CT. The SmartSource coupons are online and shipping by approximately Saturday at 8:00am CT (this is the Wednesday and Saturday BEFORE the Sunday when they would normally appear in the paper, not after).

Can I actually order the new coupons that early?

Yes. The P&G and redplum coupons can ship as early as Wednesday at 2:00pm CT.  The SmartSource coupons can ship as early as Saturday at 2:00pm CT.  No other coupon clipping service ships sooner than we do.

Because we ship so early in the week, our customers on the west coast generally receive our shipments before they receive those from coupon clipping services that are local to them!

When are the previews posted?

We generally post the redplum and P&G previews on Tuesday morning and the SmartSource on Friday morning.

Will you notify me when new coupons are added?

Yes. Just subscribe to our newsletter. We generally send out two emails a week. The first is sent on Wednesday after we add the redplum and P&G coupons.  The second is sent on Saturday after we add the SmartSource coupons. Occasionally, we'll send out a third email if we receive inserts from a different region with coupons that differ significantly from what we've previously added.

Where do you ship from?

We ship from Nashville, Tennessee.

What days do you ship and what are the cut-off times for new orders?

We ship every day the post office is open (Monday thru Saturday). Our order cut-off time is 2:00pm CT Monday thru Saturday. Orders received before the cutoff time ship the same day. Orders received after ship the next.

Sometimes we'll extend our cut-off times to earlier or later in the day. When we do that, we'll post a yellow highlighted notice on the main page.

For example, an order placed at 1:15pm CT Monday. will ship Monday. An order placed at 2:15pm CT Monday will ship Tuesday. An order placed at 6:30pm CT Satruday will ship Monday. An order placed at 1:30pm CT Satruday will ship Saturday.

Since we deliver mail direct to our area's main distribution facility, you'll probably receive your orders a day faster than you do from other coupon clipping services. Lots of our customers receive our shipments the next day!

How quickly do you fulfill orders?

We usually fulfill orders within minutes of receiving them and we always fulfill all pending orders before making a delivery to the post office.

How much do you charge for shipping?

For for USPS 1st class mail, we charge a flat rate of $1.00 per order. It doesn't matter if you order 1 coupon or 1000 - it's still only a dollar.  Also, since it's a flat-rate, you don't have to provide your shipping information to find out your total checkout amount. We also offer other flat-rate shipping methods. Click here for the details.

Are there minimum order quantities?

No! There are no minimum purchase requirements.

Is there a minimum purchase amount?

No! You can purchase as many or as few coupons as you like.

Do you charge an Admin Fee?

No! There are never any additional fees.  Your total order will always equal the amount associated with the coupons plus $1.00.  That's it.  Nothing is hidden.

I live in Tennessee. Do I have to pay sales tax?

No! We pay it for you (9.75%).

So, if I wanted to, I could purchase a single coupon in a transaction?

Yes and a lot of people actually do to test us out. It's OK with us!

How do I navigate the website?

Click any of the links under the 'Categories' heading on the upper left side of each page. That will show all of the coupons in that category. Then, notice in the upper right part of the page how you can sort the listing by various criteria. For example, to sort the coupons from newest to oldest, select 'Newest Items'.  You can also search the website for specific coupons by using the search box near the top of the page.

What are the Featured Coupons?

These are the coupons that we think offer the best value and the ones seeing the most sales. Each week there are several coupons that stand out among the rest, so we flag them as featured.

If there's a difference between what the coupon shows and the description listed on the website, which should I trust?

Always trust what you see on the actual coupon.

What does 'wyb' mean?

It means 'when you buy'.

What does 'DND' mean?

It means 'do not double'.

What does 'Limit 24' mean?

If means that the coupon has a maximum order limit of 24 per day. We impose limits on a few of the hottest selling coupons to ensure that everyone can obtain them. The vast majority of our coupons have no limit.

What does the SS 3-18 (or similar) mean that I see in the product descriptions?

That's where the coupon came from.  For example, SS 3-18 means that it came from the March 18th SmartSource insert, RP 3-25 means that it came from the March 25th redplum insert, etc. Other abbreviations include GM (General Mills), PG (P&G), WM (Walmart), et. al.

Some descriptions say 'save $1.00' or similar. How many do I have to buy in those cases?

Just one. If there's no 'wyb' in the description, it's implied that you only have to buy one.

I added some coupons to my cart and they didn't show up. What's up with that?

Be sure that you're not trying to add more than we have in inventory. You can see the inventory amounts on the individual coupon pages.

When I put items in my cart, how long will they stay there?

For as long as you like.  Whether it's a few minute or a few days, cart items will remain there until they're removed. Unlike other coupon clipping services, we don't impose any artificial time limits on you.  Take as little or as long as you like when selecting your coupons.

Please be aware that if you let coupons sit in your cart too long, you run the risk of the coupons selling out before you checkout. Our store adjusts the coupon inventory levels when they're actually sold at checkout, not when they're added to a cart.

Can I buy a gift certificate for a friend of mine?

You sure can! Just click the 'Gift Certificates' at the top of the page. The recipient of the gift certificate will be able to enter it at check out to pay for their coupons, just like in a real store.

How do I know when you restock the coupons?

We post a notice in the message forums under the appropriate topic in the 'Announcements' area whenever we restock coupons. If you subscribe to the specific message topic, you'll receive an email whenever these posts are made.

Do you get inserts from different geographical regions?

Yes and that's how we're able to offer a wider variety of Sunday insert coupons.

When do you generally restock the inventory?

We restock inventory as fast as we can process the newspapers and we do that most every day.

What happens after I place an order?

At each point in the fulfillment process, we'll notify you. You'll receive an email confirming your order, another after we've fulfilled your order and it's awaiting shipment, and then another when your order actually ships. You'll never be left in the dark wondering what happened to your order.

I didn't receive any confirmation emails after placing my order!

A surprising number of customers mistype their email address when they place an order. Please be sure that you type it correctly.

How can I find out what the coupon policy is at my local grocery store?

You need to call the store manager and ask. Coupon redemption policies often differ from store-to-store, so it's not sufficient to rely on what you read on the internet or even from what you may read from a chain's published policy. Ask the local store manager. That's the most reliable source.

Why would I want to use a coupon clipping service instead of doing it myself?

Because doing it yourself may not be worth your time. It's a choice of whether you want to spend a few dollars using a service like Klip2save or whether you want to spend a few hours each week doing it yourself. It all depends on how much your time is worth.

Do you have any related affiliations?

No. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any coupon insert provider or any manufacturer of any product that may be depicted in the coupons.

Do you have an affiliate program?

Yes we do. Click here.
